Completing Spring Cleaning

Tomorrow is the last day to contact us if your account was suspended in the recent cleaning. All these accounts had TOS violations and were suspended. We have given everyone two weeks to contact us, and only a few people did so. So if you have not make a post in the Support Forum giving us the details of your account by tomorrow, I am sorry, however your account will be terminated tomorrow night.

Also for support, you need to make a post in the Support Forum. We will not accept PM or posts in the comments of this news post.

Spring Cleaning… Just In The Fall

Yes I know it is the fall season for us here at Free100MBHost.com however a little spring cleaning never hurts. I just completed a full cleanup of inactive accounts, and accounts that violated our TOS. A large amount of accounts were suspended. If your account was suspended, please contact myself or Jezzar on the forums via PM and we will discuss why the account was suspended and we will reactivate it for you as long as it didn’t violate our TOS.

We will give everyone two weeks to contact us about a suspended account before the account will be terminated. This is all part of ensuring every member receives quality service.

Hello everyone, I am here to inform you that Free100MBHost.com will be under new management. I personally do not have enough time to manage Free100MBHost.com along with Prosoft Studio and its many projects we have planned. I do not feel it is fair to our members that I spend more time at Prosoft Studio than here. So with that note, I will no longer be managing this website. I will continue to be the Owner of Free100MBHost.com and this website will continue to be hosted under Prosoft Studio as a sponsored company. We will not be changing servers or anything, nothing is changing except for the management team.

So without further adieu, I would like to introduce everyone to the new management team, Ocean19 and Oilik. These two are good friends of mine and I am sure they will take Free100MBHost.com to a higher level than I could have. I have known these two for quite a while now and will support them through the journey and I hope you will to. So everyone, if you see these two please make sure they feel welcomed. I will still be around here from time to time however these two will be running the show for now on. This change of management is effective immediately.

I would like to thank everyone who has continuously supported me for all this time. I can be found at Prosoft Studio at any time of the day almost if you feel like saying hello. I would almost consider it my second home. This is definitely not the last you will see of me.

Just Recently: Shared Plans Have Been Updated

If you have not already noticed, we have slightly updated our shared hosting plans. We have added a more space and cPanel features (FTP, Email, MySQL, etc.) to certain plans. Please visit our shared hosting plans page for more information about these updated plans..

As for our reseller hosting plans, they will be coming in the near future. We are currently working on figuring out a fair system and plans for the reseller plans. We will update everyone as news comes along.

Ruby on Rails Now Supported

If you may not have already noticed, we have recently added Ruby on Rails to everyone’s cPanel interface. Ruby on Rails is a great addition to cPanel because it allows more possibilities. There are many applications already on the web available for Ruby on Rails. Not the mention the list is continuously growing everyday. Ruby on Rails can allow more possibilities with its capabilities of connections to many types of databases including MySQL. If you are interested in seeing the possibilities of Ruby on Rails, the official website has a Screencasts of Ruby on Rails page setup to do just that.
